The Boat: 36' Contender

Your Galveston fishing boat for this trip is our beloved 36′ Contender. It features two above deck live wells and in deck fish boxes to keep your catch fresh. GPS navigation and a high tech “fish finder” help us put you on the fish. The spacious deck has plenty of room for up to 6 anglers while three 300hp Yamaha outboard engines will have us cruising at over 30 knots.

When is the best time of year to go on a Galveston Red Snapper Fishing Trip?

The best time of year for a Galveston Red Snapper Fishing Charter is from May to September. This is when you can expect to catch the most fish though some species are more active than others at this time. Deep Sea Charters are also great in April and October but May – September is generally considered peak time to catch fish.
